Magic

Magic is a type of unlockable that provides strong but temporary buffs at the cost of MP, which is gained from level-ups or certain pickups. The presence of Magic jammers can stop the usage of magic, though some magics are immune to this effect.

There are two special modifiers that can appear on Magic:

Glitch: These spells can be cast with any amount of MP, taking you into the negative MP. While at negative MP, you cannot cast any more spells and you cannot record a score at a Clear space.

Last: These spells will automatically take up any remaining MP you have left, setting your MP to 0 and removing your ability to gain MP for the rest of the tower.

Bless of Blizzard

Freezes the current floor as if you used a Blizzard Orb.
MP Cost: 75
Level Up Bonus: Gain a variety of permanent stat buffs depending on any items that are frozen, as well as MP cost reductions.

Summon the Winter

Ice items will no longer melt (you do not lose them on changing floors).
MP Cost: 120
Level Up Bonus: MP cost is reduced. At 5,000 Sunstones, you will automatically cast Bless of Blizzard for free afterwards.

The Brave

ATK for the next battle is increased by 1000. This magic is unaffected by Magic Jammers, and can be stacked.
MP Cost: 20
Level Up Bonus: ATK gain increases.
Obtained in: Final tutorial

The Courage

DEF for the next battle is increased by 1000. This magic is unaffected by Magic Jammers, and can be stacked.
MP Cost: 20
Level Up Bonus: DEF gain increases.
Obtained in: Final tutorial

The Cure

HP is set to LV*1000. This magic is unaffected by Magic Jammers.
MP Cost: 25
Level Up Bonus: Gain more HP per level.
Obtained in: Karawari dojo

Glitch: Nexus of Forgotten World

Equip Glory Sword (Weapon - ATK+12*LV) on the spot. This magic can only be used if you have over 1000 base ATK.
MP Cost: 100
Level Up Bonus: The created Glory Sword gives more ATK per level.
Obtained in: Final tutorial

The Protection

Nullifies all damage taken for 3 turns in the next battle. This magic is not affected by Magic Jammers.
MP Cost: 15
Level Up Bonus: More turns of damage are nullified.
Obtained in: OLD

Glitch: Nexus with Time Traveller

Instantly gain one Return key.
MP Cost: 100
Level Up Bonus: None.
Obtained in: OLD

Glitch: Brave of the Past

After casting, gain 1 DEF upon defeating an enemy. Additionally, the effect of the Brave Sword is changed to the following: (Weapon - ATK+24*LV DEF+16*LV Passive: gain 2 ATK upon defeating an enemy.)
MP Cost: 160
Level Up Bonus: MP cost is reduced, and at 24,000 SS, Brave Sword gives additional DEF.

Key of Rainbow Fragment<Yellow>

Unlocks a Yellow Key door you're facing.
MP Cost: 15
Level Up Bonus: MP cost decreases.
Obtained in: Rainbow

Last Magic: The Last Oath

Doubles all key counts of keys you are holding. You can only gain at most 5 keys of each type in this way.
MP Cost: 180+
Level Up Bonus: MP cost decreases, and the amount of keys you can gain is increased.
Obtained in: Rainbow

Player Relief

Drops the Tier of the enemy you're facing by 1. Will only for Tier 10(Final) or lower enemies.
MP Cost: 50
Level Up Bonus: MP cost decreases.
Obtained in: Rainbow

Player Change

Raises the Tier of the enemy you're facing by 1. Can only increase enemies up to Tier 10(Final).
MP Cost: 50
Level Up Bonus: MP cost decreases.

Ephemeral Clock Hand

All items with use or step limitations before disappearing (Ephemeral Equipment, Kelt's Potion, etc.) have their count increased by one.

Forgotten Contraindiction

Generates a rock (HP: 1 ATK:0 DEF:1000 EXP:0) in front of you.
MP Cost: 25
Level Up Bonus: MP cost decreases.

Forgiven Contraindiction

Each time a dig is performed, HP is increased by 400. This cannot be stacked and is not affected by HP Multiplier.

Level Up Bonus: MP cost decreases, and more HP is gained per dig.

Key of Rainbow Fragment<Blue>

Unlocks a Blue Key door you're facing.
MP Cost: 24
Level Up Bonus: MP cost decreases.

Summon the Spring

All ice items and iced objects on the current floor disappear. Any frozen status on the current floor is removed, along with the effects of <Summon the Winter>.
MP Cost: 160
Level Up Bonus: Gain a variety of permanent stat buffs depending on any items that are melted, as well as MP cost reductions.
Obtained in: Glacier(Gate)

Bloody Clean Hands

MP is increased by 120 and Level count is reduced by 60 (this does not effect the amount of EXP needed to level up). This Magic can only be used once per Tower, and no unlocks may be obtained if used.

Level Up Bonus: Reduces the amount of levels spent, as well as MP cost.
Obtained in: Glacier(Gate)

Level the Way

Pave the first 3 squares in front of you, like a Pavement Orb.
MP Cost: 90
Level Up Bonus: Increases the amount of squares paved, and becomes a Glitch Magic at 12k Sunstones.

Shining Aurora Borealis

All keys dropped on to current floor will have their colors changed: Yellow ↔ Blue, Red ↔ Violet, Winner's ↔ Glory

The Indomitableness

N/A

For one battle, you will not Game Over even if you go below 0 HP, to a limit of -99,999,999. While you have negative HP, you cannot pick up any unlocks, start another fight, or record a score. Some HP recovery effects are also disabled.
MP Cost: 120+(Player LV/2)
Level Up Bonus: A variety of enhancements starting at 15k stones.

Overdrive

If Bladeless Sword/Claymore or the Period Claymore is equipped, the following effect will happen:
- Damage is multiplied by x3,
and the weapon will disappear
after the battle.
- Damage will be multiplied x10
if the opponent is the Ghost King
and you have a Bladeless weapon.

All ATK buffs are negated while this effect is on.

Wind of Light

Flip of Time

Warp to the location where you entered the floor.
MP Cost: 40
Level Up Bonus: MP cost decreases.
